Fresh from Brasil is realized since 2009, always in expositive places carefully chosen and consist in a high quality platform for the launch e propagation of talented Brazilian design in an north American market, developed in joint promotion of Objeto Brasil, Civil Society Organization of Public Interest and Suriana, company with the specialty in strategic assessment services in foreign commerce.

The Project was designed in a way to provide a definitive tool for the placement of Brazilian Design in the prominent position where it belongs in one of the principal consumer markets of the world.

Brazilian Design in NYDW

New York Design Week is one of the biggest worldwide events of design and represents an important moment of discussion of new projects and tendencies, with a universe of parallel events to the ICFF – International Contemporary Furniture Fair. This design week includes not only events related to the furniture segment, but also fashion, art and behavior. The city receives three hundred and fifty thousand visitors from five continents including buyers, journalists, designers, opinion leadership of luxury and design. The event is focus in generating business, constituting an important activity for the companies and designers aimed to expansion or entrance into the foreign market.

Fresh from Brasil 2012 will happen for the second year in a row inside Wanted Design, which gathers brands and designers of great influence in the international market, selected and invited carefully by the curator of the event. Located near Javits Centes, where occurs the ICFF, Wanted Design has established itself as a must see event from the New York Design Week, and the biggest parallel event of the week, receiving over 5000 visitors highly qualified and media attention.

Fresh from Brasil will be a 1076 ft2 with a sophisticated and representative of Brazilian identity ambiance, the multisensory content includes:
